Moultree 1.3= Works!
#11
After a few more days I removed the camera from the test areaand was pleased to see more great photos and the battery still had 30% left after 60 photos inover a week ( not counting the test shots in the house). I am using a Rayovac 6v Maximum plus and it seems to work well and it is approx 6 bucks. I have the camera set on 2 pics and 1 minute delay.
I have used the cameras hard drive as well as the SD card option and booth work the same with no problems. So Far so good.

Buck442, is your camera placed over a food source? That's the only thing I have not tried. Next step is in the trash. All I got this year from mine was ears and partial antlers because of the horrible shutter speed. I tried the angle thing on the trails and that didn't help either. And to make it worse I bought one of Moultrie's rechargeable batteries, and that died too. Not impressed with mine. Should have put the $100 I spent toward the Cuddeback. Glad to see it works for somebody.

The shutter or trigger time does seem a little slow approx 3-5 secs. I have mine placed facing a trail and I did place a little supplemental food souce out. I also have some noses and ears as well but it usually gets the entire body on the first shot and partial on the second.
