Default Awesome!!

The season is pretty much over for me, and like any other hunter, I don't really want it to be, but I have the next best thing! I live in front of a large pecan orchard, and there are a lot of deer, so I decided to make a homemade blind out of branches and stuff. Now, it doesn't sound that good, but it is really covered pretty evenly, with camo netting over it as a safeguard, and if you're wearing hunting camo you're almost invisible. I set it up on a trail the deer like to use on the way to where my neighbor feeds them corn. I sat out this afternoon and a huge group of does started coming in. I set up the blind yesterday, and I thought they'd come this morning like they usually do and check the blind out, and get used to it, but the first time they saw it was this afternoon, when I was sitting in it. The does eventually winded and caught me, but an unsuspecting little buck posed for some pics.

That's one of the does....

Good picture stillhunt. Just because the seasons over doesn't mean you have
to leave the woods. Replace the bow with a camera is a good idea.

Here's the little buck. He walked within 15-20 yards, maybe a little less.

A camera is second best to a bow. Keep up the good work. You will be amazed at how much you learn.

Great pics! I only wish that I had place like that (and of course the time) to set up something like that. Keep the pics coming.
