Default GOT MY RACK BACK

Well the other day I went back to the processor to see if they had found my antlers. The guy said,"there was antlers from a 11 point brought back the other day." And i said,"Yeah those our probably minecause ya'll lost them."Then the guy said,"Yeah it was our mistake in letting the guy go back there to get them. The guy walked right in and helped himself with getting his racked and picked your's up thinking it was his without looking at the number on the rack. It took him a couple days to realize it wasn't his because his didn't have a double browtine." But in the end i got my rack back and thats what matters. I still think something is fishy though. I won't be going back there.

That's great news... he probably got wind of how many people you had looking out for them and got nervous. Glad to hear everything ended aok. Up here in NY we have to leave the antlers on when the deer goes to the butcher... what happened to you is my biggest worry.I use to butcher my deer all the time and stopped about 7 or 8 yrs ago... rather be at the gun club or out in the woods. Couple of years back I shot a nice 10 ptr and decided I didn't want to risk leaving it at the butcher so I caped it and butchered it myself. I still worry when I leave my heads at the taxidermist...
