Got my first chance to go out yesterday. I saw one doe that was about 20 yerds away behind a brush pile. Moving to get a shot she jetted. I then glance a 4 pt. has he went running by where I was set up on a stream. Seems he didn't like the tree rat hunters coming down the stream. Oh well a day out in the woods is a good day.
Thing about it is all of the shooting and I didn't even get the chance to draw my bow yesterday.
I'll get them next time. Wife and kids thought I had one because I hosed off the truck when I got home they came running in asking where did I hang it. I told them it was still in the woods waiting for next time.
