safety harness questions

Full body harness is the only way to go and assuedly the safest.
Of them all I kind like to hook my SOP harness to the Fall Guy retractor to use with my hang-on stand. The rest of the time I use my SOP harness even when using my climbers.

IMHO, Seat-O-The Pants is one of the best out there. Use it in conjunction with their climbing system and you have it made. Use your climbing rope to hoist your bow and pack up with.
Whatever you use, make sure it is from a reputable company, and don't use a belt. Always use a full body fall restraint system.

I've been using the harness that came with my Summit and feel totally secure. However, I have been seriously considering getting a "vest-type" harness. So bassfisherman711, I'm wondering the same thing. Does anyone have any comments on the Gorilla brand vest? I can't remember reading anything here about that brand.
