How many of you hunt during the rain?

Thinking about going tomorrow, but not sure if it's worthwhile.

If it's not a complete down pour I'll go in a heart beat. I see alot of deer in the rain. Where you at, it's like 5 degrees here, no chance of rain but we're suppose to get alot of snow.

In central Alabama. It suppouse to rain pretty hard this evening and into the night. By 10 tomorrow it is suppouse to stop. I'd love for us to get some snow. Last year we actually had about an hour of snow flurries! I was in the satnd thinking "damn this is beautiful". Didn't see any deer, but still one of my favorite memories.

i would def hunt the morning casue as soon as that rain stops, you will start to see deer moving........hunt near beds which have a little cover...such as low lying pines or scrub brush...the deer will be out for a mid-morning meal once the rain stops........at least from what i hear....good luck

Hunting when the weather is less than favorable is my favorite time to hunt. It is what lets me know that I realy am addicted when all of my buddies say "There was no way I was getting out in that weather." I especially like it when I geta deerand then I can say to them "Should have been out there today."

If it is not lightning or storming, go. I shot a great 9 point two years ago in a mild rain. I have found they do not move much in the open, but will move in cover pretty well.

Some of my biggest bucks have come right after a rain storm. If it is going to come a storm, hit the woods just before, and right after.

I was just about to post if I should hunt a green filed or in the woods. Looks like I should be in the woods.

Opening day and during the rut are the only times that I'll hunt in a fairly hard rain. I'll hunt anytime in light rain or showers. Wind blown rain keeps me indoors too. I hunt for enjoyment, and when it's raining, I ain't enjoying it!

I wont be out there either if it's pouring down rain or the wind is real bad. Now it it's light rain and a little bit of wind (10mph) I'll be there

I bet I've tried hunting in a mild to hard rain twenty to twenty-five times.. I've finally come to the conclusion I'm wasting my time.

Now... as some of the others said, if it's light and is supposed to stop... that's another thing.
