Here's the story...
I went out behind my house to my favorite hunting spot that watches over a bean field. I was sitting out there all morning a didn't see nothing. I decided to move to another spot to hunt for the rest of the time i had. As i was walking i looked back to see him and the does coming to the right of me about 500yards out in the field. I crept into the woods and laid on my back. I could see they were about to run into the woods so i grunted on my grunt tube a couple of times and they all stopped! They shifted their direction from going into the woods to running along the woods to where i was laying on the ground. The does came by first and ge followed next in line. When he came to where i could shoot him he was 30 yards out into the field. I bleated and he stopped and when he did that i shot him. The arrow didn't go all the way through him, but it was sticking out the otherside. I think he ran so far because after i shot he had all the room in front of him to run so he put the pedal to the medal and booked it. Me and my dad tracked him an hour later becuase i knew it was a good shot. Turned out great that my birthday was a couple of weeks after i shot him. There is no present better than a nice trophy to hang on the wall.
