RE: Got some pics of a nice buck in my yard
First off, let me say WOW!
I have enjoyed reading the debates.Atlas, that is one nice buck!:) My top pin would take care of that.;) I think you missed Trembrow's post about the shed trap. Your'e half way there w/ the straw in your yard. I would definitely try his idea if I were you. Seems harmless. |
RE: Got some pics of a nice buck in my yard
ORIGINAL: RMQ You promote your illegal behavior by showing it off; I don't show it off because I'm not proud to break the law! Both behaviors Wrong, your just showing it off because you believe your right to break the law. Finally, If your not looking for a solution; thats a problem. Your not doing the deer any favors here. Unless there is another super secret special twist; these deer are not being hunted - hence, unless you have the coveted secret Mountain Lions of NYroaming your preserve; the deer population will have to exceed the habitats capacity eventually. Thats simple biology - no hunters; lots of feed. Sooner than you think these deer will be totally reliant upon your feeding them; or there will be serious winter kills from starvation. But I'm sure there's another excuse as to why that won't happen. What makes your situation worse is the fact that there are NO Hunters; and your not letting mother nature run her cruel means of population control. I still fail to see your logic & justification; but I'm sure you'll still try to convince me. |
RE: Got some pics of a nice buck in my yard
ORIGINAL: RMQ I may have gotten hot headed when i didn't know you were joking when you denied feeding the deer - hence me calling you a liar; and I know I've made some mistakes on this thread because of it (like getting interupted and not finishing my post on the hunting hours & stand comment - for which I have appologized. However, that doesn't make my point any less valid - Your proud to break the law and flaunt it. I'll own my mistakes. However, You continually miss the point............the thread has nothing to do with feeding. Figure that out and it might sink in. If your not looking for a solution; your the problem. In the long run you are doing more damage than good. Deer will over populate an area with No hunters, No exits and plenty of food. Longer living deer, healthier & larger numbers of offspring will soon equal over population. Thats a fact of life. Oh, but wait, because i made a couple mistakes; I obviously don't know ANYTHING. I'm sorry. I'mSorryfor calling you a liar. |
