Default Help with this map.....

I hunted here today, and this was my first time on this land. The black dot is where I set up, and I did see 1 decent buck and 17 doe, just nothing close enough to shoot.

By looking at this picture, I am wondering where any of you may set up?

I see a saddle about 1 inch; 4 o-clock. I would set up there. You would be set up between the field and the black dot.

Good luck

If that is a ridge top clearing about 2" to the right of your dot, I would set up on a trail leading to it if there is any good browse in there.

Also say your dot is to the north, southeast of that is a funnel between two openings. This is a natural bottleneck and I bet a good travel route.

put your arrow clicker thing on the right side of your black dot and drag down to the lil finger that comes out of the big woods and divides the 2 fields. looks like a hot spot to me and you could probally hunt with various wind directions

mobowhuntr, not knowing the topography and the location of food and bedding areas, I've tried to highlight a few areas I would check out. The yellow highlighted areas look like saddles in the topography that would be good to check on. The orange highlighted area seems to be a conversion of travel corridors that would be good to check out. Good luck!

looks to me there isn't to many trees around on this land. if thats the case i would set up in the trees just east of your position. also just for shi#s and giggles i may go down to the south east were you have trees/thickets bordering the roads and buildings. I've seen a lot of deer bed close to this type of environment. not really quiet but very little hunting so close to the buildings.

I kinda like where those two windbreaks are converging toward that inside corner about 2" directly below your dot .
