Default Adding insult to injury

Go out all day long and see nothing....day after day....week after week. I actually was thinking in the woods today that I will be happy when muzzleloader season ends because I won't have to feel like I should be out there even though it is a TOTAL lost cause this year in NY.

The icing on the cake comes when I get home each day to see this in my back yard. Check out the tracks and you will get an idea of the traffic that goes through my yard every day.......that is a fresh 4 inches of snow we got last night. I have 4 different bucks that are in my yard every night and I have anywhere up to 16 deer at once running around like goof balls. Last night there were 9 deer bedded down in my yard with snow covered backs.........pretty cool sight. It's OK though.......these deer are basically pets.....we have known each other for years now.

Yes.......that is my broadhead target in the one picture

Its there sanctuary. I would be frustrated after coming home a lot empty handed and seeing that every night.

Good grief! My pup thinks it's a big day when we get 4 squirrels in the yard at the same time. She'd have a field day with that much stuff to chase.

I feel bad for my 2 dogs sometimes.......they just sit at the sliding glass doors facing my back yard and wish they could go "play" The squirrels drive my little dog crazy and rabbits too but not so much. My Lab looks like he is gonna come out of his skin when the deer are all standing around but like anything else they all just get used to each other.

Just so everyone knows..........this is not huntable land (not that I would shoot these "pets" anyways even if I could)

It's pretty comical sometimes to have them hanging around as I practice with my bow..........this day I was laughing so much I had to go get the camera.
