I'm sure it sounds like alot of fun but to run your archery shop and work your other job would be suicide for your hunting time. I have a friend that went to Canada to a fly-in fishing lodge and really liked the lodge and had always wanted to get into the business, so he bought the lodge. His famous phrase now is "The day I bought the lodge is the last time I fished"and this was about 5 years ago. I would just caution you against running into the same problem but if you decide to open a shop, best of luck to you, there's no doubt it would be fun to play with bows and bait all day!

Yes it would. Your location and combination is all wrong. If it were me, I would start a chuck wagon/ bait shop on wheels. I'd get the sexiest blond babe and have her in a thong driving up and down the outer banks beach selling bait and food to the surf fishermen.

I've alwaysbelieved the phrase "Never try to turn your hobbies into a living because that's the last time that you get to enjoy your hobby".
