Can't speak for the ASAT that you are talking about...

However, I do have the 3D suit. I love it. It's a mesh type fabris under the 3D stuff, so it has little or no insulating/wateproofing value. It's ment to be worn over your existing cammo.

Great guarantee - seems like a great company.

I too have the ASAT 3d suit along with the ASAT coveralls and archers jacket.

None are insulated or have sent loc but you can wear anything you like under the 3D suit and even go naked under it if it is hot.

I am very impressed with the ASAT gear that I have it has helped me take my first deer.
You will find that ASAT wont get that blob effect that some other kinds of camo get.

The ASAT camo to me seems to take the color of what ever is surrounding you so if you are in a green thicket then the suit appears to be green and blends right in.

I know I for one wont be changing from ASAT for a very long time.

Chuck and Tim are 2 great guys who back up their product Chuck has even called me and gave me his personal guarantee on the suit what else can you ask for.

When I was camo shopping Bill Jordan never called me to give me his personal guarantee on realtree camo.

If you like send Chuck an email and ask him what you want.

You will find that he will bend over backwards to help you.

I'll be sporting the ASAT 3-d suit as soon as I can get my butt up a tree

I have a pair of ASAT pants, a shirt, and an insulated jacket. The pants' seams seem a little flimsy to me. The jacket is warm yet amenable to archery hunting. None of my items are waterproof or scent-controlling. I think the camo pattern works well.

I bought some ASAT stuff at the Pa. Bowhunter's Festival a few weeks ago. The ASAT people had a booth there and I had a chance to talk to them and they gave me a free huning video. When it comes to camo, I'm an ASAT fanatic. I just havn't found anything else that does a better job of hiding me. The problem in the past has been that it's been so tuff to find. They tell me that they're coming back into full operation with a pretty good selection of clothes again. I really have had fun with deer and other hunters while wearing the 3-D suit I bought. It works like nothing else I've used. They're supposed to be coming out with ASAT in military style cotton six pocket pants, shirts and jackets in the next several weeks. If their cotton stuff is anyhing like the stuff I got from them 12 years ago (and still wear), I'll be buying whole new cotton outfits for each of us in the family. They're also supposedly coming out with a water repellent outfit in buck suede. They showed me a sample. Looks like super good stuff. They don't make anything with scent control in it, but that's no biggie cause I can just wear my ASAT over top of my charcoal liner. Plus, I spray down good with scent killer. Anyhow, I picked up their business cards at the show. They're just building a website - it's at www.asatcamo.com or also at www.lenartz.com - if you wanna check them out. Good luck huntin'.

Get the ASAT 3D suit. You will not be dissabpointed. I'm an Air Force pilot and I too travel and hunt all over. I just got back from turkey hunting on the north rim of the grand canyon. I'll be mulie hunting for desert bucks in the white tanks mountains in December and in November I'll be in WV hunting white tails. The ASAT camo is the only one out there that I would feel comfortable wearing in all three places.

I am also a ASAT wearer. My set up is all polar fleece. I need light weight and maximum warmth from my gear. Something that will dry super fast, and no restrictions when climbing. My ASAT polar fleece fits the bill. I have seen my suit in another set of hands in texas and many other states and have to say its the best there is! My moose and sheep this year where both shot in my Fleece set up.....check them out
