Default Albino Fawn (pics)

This had been my third encounter with this little guy since the opening of bow season. The first time I saw him was trying to recover my buck the second day of season. The next was last week when I didn't have a camera. Well last night when heading to the stand there he was and I had a camera in hand. I got pretty close to him on foot but he heard my approach and took off about 40yds. only to look back and try and figure out what it was. I don't think its eyesight is all that great...

their eyesight usually isnt very good. even if it isnt that bad at birth, it quickly deteriorates.

Man I sure hope that little guy sticks around for you. Thats pretty cool you have something as rare as a true albino running around your woods.

Are albinos legal in MO?

Not that long ago they showcased a huge 190 inch typical albino on North American Whitetail TV from Buffalo countyWI.Albinos are illigal to take in WI. It was pretty awesome!

One good thing about Illinois is that it is against the law to shoot a albino deer. They are a protected species and should be every where.

the only bad thing i see is that if albinos are running around the woods with their bright colors then they will be easier to catch by predators and since there eyesight isnt good they wont be as difficult to catch. i cant beleive that an albino had a chance to make it to 190. if someone is in ohio they would take that deer becuz they arent illegal
