broadhead assistance please

Default broadhead assistance please

i currently hunt with some rocket hammerhead expandable broadheads which are fine for deer but iam looking to do so other hunting with my bow such on moose and bear do u guys think i should switch my broadhead selection because i think the mechanicals will bend to easily on those bigger animals. If so what would u recemend ?

In my opinion I would say a .300 short mag rifle or higher. That's with a 180 grain bullet or higher at 3000 fps. Am I allowed to say that on this Bowhunting forum? HAHA!

i'd say look into some muzzy's thunderheads or magnus stingers. The cut on contact head is the best route to go for hunting game like that.

i recommend cut on contact heads for heavy game. not to say mechanicals won't work but the cut on contacts give me a warm feeling inside cause i KNOW they will penetrate the deepest. a surgeon i work with used the stingers on a black bear this year and it did it's job.

Any setup adequate for whitetails will be adequate for bears, for moose however, I adimantly agree with the rest and recommend a fixed blade head.

Magnus Stinger, 150 gr. In the case of a moose, the more arrow weight the better....IMO

i was thinking of getting some wasp boss 4 blades they should work well on deer as on bigger game what do u guys think?
