The favorite bow you ever owned?

I noticed this thread over on another site so I figured I would post it over here.
What isthe favorite bow you have ever owned and why? What did you enjoy the most about it?
I have owned quite a few bows especially in the past 4 years that I have enjoyed. Mostly BowTechs and Hoyts.
My 2004 BowTech Patriot with the Infinity cam sticks out the most to me out of all of them including the Allegiance that I currently shoot. Ithad an awesome blend of speed, shock free shooting and it was oh so quiet. No other bow I have ownedhas duplicated its shot qualities.
One of my buddies bought it off me a couple years ago and I wish I would have never sold it [&:]He still owns it, he says he isn't going to letit go

[/shameless plug]Don't really know, at this point I would have to say my Patriot, but I really haven't had the Allegiance long enough to form an opinion. The only reason I upgraded was I got the Allegiance for a steal, and I think it will be more forgiving with the binary cams and level nock travel, a little extra speed never hurt anything either. I think once my constitution gets here it will be my new favorite though............

My favorite bow was a Brakenbury Legend recurve. It was the first custom bow I'd ever had made and it was magic. I thought at one time I was going to have to give up archery and I sold it. Idiotic mistake.[&o]
As far as compounds, it's a the Hoyt Pro Hunter. Compared to what they're putting out today, it was slower than STP on a January morning, but today's bows couldn't compete withit for forgiveness and shooting where you aimed. You just had to be really good at judging yardage instead of only kinda good.
AndI didn't need a bow press to work on it. It finally gave up the ghost and cracked a limb a few years ago. I must've shot at least a hundred thousand arrows through it and itwon many tournaments for me, field archery and 3D.
Very close second to the Hoyt was the old Golden Eagle Hunter. Just a bit slower, but even more accurate and forgiving.
Both of 'em were ridiculously easy to tune and would hold a tune so long you'd almost forget how to tune a bow before either would need it again.

No question! My 04-bowtech justice is the best tree stand hunting bow I have ever owned. You asked why? 1st-It is the smoothest bow thatI have ever drawn! and also very quite! Beats every other bow That I have owned by far! Also being a short bow 31 1/2 axle to axle Helps me to maneuver around in a tree when taking sharp angle shots. It just seems to fit mystyle of hunting.
Started hunting with this bow in 04- last season and as of to date.. 10 shots! 10 dead deer.
4-bucks
6-does
And I still have 6 more doe tags that I could fill this season!

1.Darton SL-50, had to paint my own camo design on it but I took a lot of deer with it. 2. Bear One (single cam) I won it in an archery league, heavier than hell, but put a lot of arrows through deer. Sold it and bought my current bow a Cabelas outfitter (PSE) still haven't killed a deer with it yet. Shoots like a dream, I can pound x's with it all day long, but missed a deer a 8 yds. go figure.

My favorite would have to be my first. Bear magnum hunter. 35% let off, loud as hell and a pretty stiff draw cycle. Saved my money from delivering papers and bought it when I was 14. I've had others that shoot better but the old Bear will always be my favorite. I still have it and likely always will.

buckeye, you're starting to frighten me with all these questions that make me think.....[&:]
I haven't owned very many, and I like them all with my first being an old Bear Whiitetail Hunter. I still have it. More sentimental value than anything. I currently shoot a Hoyt, and love it!!
But, my favorite I would have to say is my 1998 Proline Riptide. That bow just flat out shoots. It's fast, flat, and the arrows come off of that thing like a dart. Admittedly, it's not the smoothest draw in the world, and it is even pretty loud, but it shoots really, reallly good.
