I wonder if they leave it tied to the tree before you shoot or give it a head start?
The sad part is that there is probablly some company out there that is willing to pay that. Man you could buy a place to hunt the rest of your life for little more than that!

This is what I told him.
So what, your guide walks you around to the trees where the deer are teathered to and you get to choose the one you want to shoot? You ever hear of Fair Chase? Shooting a doe on public land would be way more of a trophy than any animal on your property.

Hi All,
I say it isn't worth the stress to even think much about it. If some idiot is willing to pay that kind of money to "pick" a rack then so be it. I would go if it was free but I would let them keep the rack but I would take the meat!
Can't eat the horns.

"Matter of fact, I feel bad for those animals.. They are raised basically as pets on a farm just to be shot by some rich scum bag" - salty
Gee, I hope you feel just a bad for every steer, hog and lamb that is waiting to be turned into table fare. There really is no difference. I know this is not a real hunt...you know it is not a real hunt. So what? Rich folks buy things we can't even imagine all the time. Don't get you undies in a bunch over it, life is too short.
