I will be!
My wife has to work(nurse),my Mom just had a hip replaced(doing great)and I'm 300 miles away at workso no Thanksgiving day meal for me.
I'm going to spend the day fletching arrows and I'm going to have some boneless butterfly venison chops.
We'll have Turkey on Sunday when I am back home. Right after I get back from hunting the morning of course!

Can't ask for a better Thanksgiving day than that.. Well, you could shoot a deer too that day, that would top it off..
I plan on going hunting in the morning, weather permitting, then watching the LIONS loose again. Its a tradition with my father... Hunt the morning , then watch the LIONS.. So far, we've shot TWO bucks on Thanksgiving day..

I would rather spend the day with my wife and family.
Just didn't work out this year.
So, I'll just make the best of it.
Good luck to you and your Dad

It's a turkey dinner for me tomorrow. But today, today is the day! Here at work, my boss is letting us have a little shindig, so one guy who just returned from a Colorado hunt brought some Mule Deer and Elk meat in, I brought some beer and deer jerky, and 8 of us are gonna chow down at lunchtime. Oh yea, there's a bunch of cookies and junk food too.....I'm gettin sick already...
