raven45, please giveme the benefit of your superior knowledge of finger shooting and tell me where I am wrong in my post. I assume you include me in your diatribe, since only two of us spoke against using the wb and your post reference was in the plural.

I specifically want to know how the wb can correct for poor technique.

thanks for everyone's comments. they were very helpful. what i did was paper-tune and put more pressure on my bottom fingers. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. i'm now ready to whack'em and stack'en. After 33 years of finger(glove) releasing , a mechanical release was just not my style. thank God and thank all of you.
shoot straight, dusty

YUP, some sort of springy with a plunger or something like that. You may want to look at a Kant Pinch tab. Lots less trouble and easier on the fingers from my way of thinking. They won't develope those deep ridges gloves develope either.

I'm not sure if you are shooting split or three under. But remember your middle finger should take most of the holding pressure. Should be something like 30,60,10%.

I'd also not advise using a WB in your case.
