I'm pretty new to Washinton state (Have only been stationed here a couple of years on CVN 72 in Everett.) This will be my second season hunting with little luck so far. I'll be hunting This weekend down in theFall River unit, By a little town named Pe Elle. Saw some cow elk there last year, as well as a number of does, (one loner was a piebald, to bad we can't shoot them here in WA.) but no trophy animals yet. I'm just looking for an animal to put some meat in the freazer for now. I'd be happy with a tender yearling cow or doe for that matter. Of course, the trophy animal is always on my mind. Just wondering if anyone had some info or pics to share. Thanks All.

No pics to share but you should look into Indian Isl if you just want to fill the freezer.

down the forums list and go to the West forum...you'll prolly get more replies there.
Happy hunting to ya.
