seen my first deer of the year she was about 100 yards from me,never came any closer,need to find new spots,maybe next year will be the year,thanks everyone for the tips

Is yer season over now?????? If it is now is the time to do some serious scouting to find where they have been traveling. Evidently you weren't on the travel paths or you would have seen more deer so get out there and find that spot where you can stick the big one next year. Anytime is a good time for scouting except during the rut.

Your lucky i havnt even seen one deer yet, hunting that is.

haha...I can relate to that one! I've been out bow hunting just a handful of times (school gets in the way!) and didn't see anything, went out it my rifle last weekend...nothing. Hunting is a funny thing, though...cause I just can't give up! I'm heading back out with my rifle tomorrow!
