Default Any tricks on removing hair....??????

Last night when skinning out my deer, the cape flopped around a little, and now there is a descent amount of hair on parts of the back quarters.

Does anyone have any tricks, tips, or sugguestions on removing the hair from the meat? There is nothing worse that a roast with deer hair in it. Thanks guys/gals.

If I get allot of hair on the quarters I use a propane torch and lightly burn the hair away. It works great. But do it lightly as to not burn any meat. Good luck.

My dad and I use a paper towel that we dab some vinegar on. Then we just rub it on the meat and it seems to pull the hair off of it. Not sure how it works, it just does.

**Just don't soak the paper towel or your meat is gonna have a very vinegary taste.

Those are the only 2 methods I've ever heard of. However when you peel the film off the meat the hair will be gone.

Wrap some duct tape around your hand, sticky side out and pat the area where the hair is. Should take it right off.

We use propane, but be careful not to burn the meat.
