well, first of all..i got up to my cabin on this past friday and set up my treestand that after noon on the edge of a clearcut area about 10 acres there. that night it rained so i stayed in and told hunting stories. the next mornin i go out. i spot 5 does comin from the oaks into the middle of the clear cut and went into the pines across from me. soon after, a nice 4 pt came across chasin the does. then a nice wide 3pt came behind me and went to my side and couldn't get a shot off. i went in at 10. that night it was a lil bit windy out and my friend radio'd in and said a nice 4 pt twords me..sooner that i say ok, here he comes with a 3 pt.

the 3 comes in and eats some apples and goes by a scrape..then the 5 comes in broadside( my buddy thought it was the 4). at first i couldn't get my bow back..i was too excited, i took another deep breath and got it back. then THAWAK! i got him. he ran bout 100 yds till i couldn't c him anymore..i got down and found blood..started rainin so i marked wher i found last blood. the next mornin..looked bout 20 yds and he was down..gutted it and then that was that..goin to get it mounted since its my 2nd buck...the biggest by far. By the way..IT WAS WITH A HOYT!! GO HOYT!!
