Just got back, not too long ago from hunting some of my spots here in Kansas. There is about a 50/50 ratio of whitetails and mulies. I was hoping for a Mule Deer, and had spot and stalks on 2 BIG 5x5 mulies, but wasn't able to get a clean shot off. Most people think of Kansas for Whitetails, when in reality Mule Deer are get even bigger here. I even seen a few antelope. Here are some pics from the trip. I ended up taking a young 8ptr on the last day. Even though it wasn't what I was hoping for, for the year, i'm still satisfied. Now I can't help my girlfriend get her a nice buck, come rifle season.

Look's good out west fellow Kansas. I'd like to get me one of them Mulies to. You have alot of Phesant out there this year for sure. I got my limit in about 2 hr opening morning. Nice pictures thanks for shareing.
