Well after 3 years of trying, my wife got her first deer with a bow. It's a button buck that she shot from about43 yards away. She made a perfect quartering away shot as the deer was feeding in a food plot in the woods next to the river that I had made for her and the kids to hunt in. The deer ran about60 yards and piled up. She was pretty excited because she was hunting all by herself and tracked it after the shot before coming home and waking me upoffof the couch(my turn to babysit). As we were field dressing her deer, my neighbor boy called and said that he arrowed a nice 8 pt in the corner of a field where I had told him to hunt. A pretty good night

Tell them Congrats.

I only have one question, how do you "make a river"?

You wrote,
"in the woods next to the river that I had made for her and the kids to hunt in."

Well it only took me a couple thousand years and a lot of work but it was worth all of that trouble just to see a little water go trickling by....lol
