Good Buck Down !!!!!
Well Saturday started off wrong but ended great. It started by me waking up 2 hours bfore I needed to and I couldn't go back to sleep. After I got in my tree at 6:30 I had two different 8 points come in behind me on the same trail and I missed them both.The first one I just never settled the pin in on and the second I grossly under estimated the yardage.
But at 5:15 that afternoon I heard a deer break over the ridge and I grabbed the Ol' Mathews. When I looked up I saw this buck coming dead straight at my stand at a trot so I came to full draw and at 8 yards he turned to the right and I let'r fly. The arrow entered right above his shoulder blade and exited at the next to last rib. The buck ran about 30 yards and started his death run and it was over. He scores 101 4/8.
