We hunt a private 80 acres 10 minutes from home. Theres some prime land around us that we have seen some big buck's 12 point plus. Well we would not cross the fence to hunt them without permission so we just hoped these guy's would come over. I just found out some people i contracted for 2 years ago OWN it. They have 160 acres around this 80 and said nobody has ever hunted it since they bought in in 1972. Well Now it's ours to hunt (bowhunt). She told me they have pictures of a 16 point last year fighting with a even bigger one. There is no possible way to sneak in here because of the river and miles of woods, So this is where they are no dought seeking refuge and growing so big. She also told me they go on a antler hunt every year on the 4-wheelers and pick up a cart load ranging from 8-14 point. If one of us is sucessfull in bagging one of these baby's i'll post pictures. Going to set my trail cam out there tomorrow.
