Default First deer ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went bowhunting at a friends house this weekend. We went Friday morning and I saw a big buck butI never had a shot[:@]. We decided to move my stand that evening to a small feild and while we were waalking down an old 4-wheeler path we jumped up a couple does. I havent killed a deer before so I saw a doe at 20 yrds standing there and I figured it was too goos of an oppritunity to pass up. I drew back and shot and I MISSED a broadside shot at 20 yrds!!!!!!!!!!! The doe took ! step quartering away and opened up the front shoulder and I drew back again and shot to watch my arrow pass right behind the shoulder to take out both lungs and the heart. She ran only 15 yrds and dropped(in a thicket of course). I finally got my first deer after 3 years of gun hunting and 2 years of bow hunting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!! There's nothing like your first one.

I also missed my first bow shot too. I didn't follow through, lifted my bow up to watch the arrow, and I watched it alright, right over her back!

Congrats again....and of course I must add...."WHERE"S THE PICS?"
