I think its best to butcher you own meat. We took an 8 point I shot and button buck my dad shot to the butcher about 5 years ago. They gave us about 70 lbs of meat back. This is Ohio deer. 8 point going about 170 dressed. The point is you'll save money and meat if you educate yourself in butchering your own deer.
