Besides that.... if you've been watching this board at all you know the rut HAS to be in full swing or past peak. I mean .... even NYbowhunter shot a buck with more than 4 points...or was it a road kill?.[8D][8D][8D][&:]

Saw 4 big does this morning........and all of them had little ones with them. 9 deer in all walking in a line without a care in the world.........and nothing on their tail. No way I see that if the rut is on........there wasn't a buck anywhere near them. My brother saw 7 deer where he was and reported the same........does and little ones.....he did see a 4 pointer later in the morning but said it was just out for a stroll.

Wait all this time only to have it fall into gun season...........Oh well, at least the DEC will be happy.

Western.........just not seeing it man.......been on stand about 20-25 hours per week. I would think I was just unlucky but have heard nothing different from anyone else in this area either.
