Going hunting for the first time this year in the morning.
Got my hunting license and deer tag broad heads some hunting gear and im excited to go. it will be my first time hunting from a stand.

Good luck! I missed a nice buck this yr. with my first shot from stand, shot over his back at 15 yds. Aim a few inches low if you havn't practiced from stand. This simpleerror cost me a nice trophy.

You have a lot of work to do tonight!
De-scent all your new gear(as well as all your other stuff),it will smell like the store it came from.
You need to practice with those new broadheads to see if they fly like your field points.
You need to shoot from an elevated location,roof,ladder,down a steep hill. This will tell you where your arrows are going to hit the deer. Wear all your gear when you practice,this will tell you if anything you are wearing will interfere with your shot. When I say everything, I mean everything,binoc,grunt tube,face mask,hat,gloves everything!

Didnt see anything. Had some interference tho. Got to the stand about 7:15 a.m. There was a guy hunting there allready right beside the stand on the ground about 5 feet away from the stand but its my dads friends house and im the only that hunts there besides the guy that owns it so i made him leave. And i climbed up the stand sat down and saw the guy walking over to a tree and walkin around it for a couple minutes till the other guy stood up and climbed down out of the other ladder stand i didnt see. This stand also belonged to the guys property i was hunting. But i didnt know, but they left without a fight. And about 9:20 nature called so i climbed down and luckly there was a water bottle right under neath stand from a earlyr hunt so i peed in that. And went back up and didnt see anything.
