Not in IL. However, I am fortunate enough that my father in law knows a rancher who invites us to do a management hunt for does and lame bucks. He has a corn field that the deer come out on at night in droves! Usually one will come out, then another, and before you know it there are at least a dozen feeding on the harvested corn.

I shot my deer last year in a field, during the Rut here they run the fencelines, they like it, because they can run the does harder than they can through the woods. I have been hunting the woods, but this weekend I am on the field!

the one property we are huntin this year that is the only thing i have done, but usually only see one or two deer,,the one thing i do have to say is find where they are enterin/exitin the field. i had my stand set up on a trail that they used quite a bit last year and so far have this year and that is were i harvested my doe weekend before last.
