Had a Forkie come in last night, straight to my Mock scrape, worked the licking branch for a good 5 minutes, pawed the ground, then walked up the hill, with his nose pretty much to the ground. Then had another 3 point come in, BIG body, walked in like he was King.. Worked the other scrape. Haven't seen any chasing yet, just some curiosity chasing. Nothing serious... How long before the BIG BOYS start cruising? There has been serious lack of Big Boy sightings this year where I live.. I have GOOD sized rubs in my area, and I'm hoping One will SHOW UP when I'm there..

I'm guessing if you have big ones in the area they are busy tending does NOW...not looking for does. I've seen 3 big ones with does the last 3 days on our property just east of the Twin Cities.

In west central WI the bucks are chasing and travelling alot. Last Sat. afternoon, watched a 150 class 10 pt. hang out with a doe for 3 hours -- too bad I didn't get an opportunity to shoot as he would not leave her. She must have been on the verge of coming in and he was ready and waiting. Many small bucks are travelling in search of any does that are not holed up the big boys.
