That was a very great story. I could of wrote it myself but I couldn;t and don't know how to use the words at times to express it. Thanks so much for sharing from a person who has been there and done it but didn't know how to say it.
David, maybe everyone could be as purfuk as you. That was a very rude statement you made. I have not read a post here in a long time as intresting as that. Thanks antler for sharing.

Hey bud,

Your email gave me the bug again. So I jumped back in. I have posted a thread about an Elk Drop camp referral. I am going to try to set up a plan B just in case we dont draw. They also just opened a Bass Pro here last week. That place is unbelievable. I am jonesing so bad to get back to the elkaholic meetings, I dont know what to do with myself. I think I need help.Lets here some elk stories.

Was it an audition?

Alison, you will have to forgive my tardiness in replying, I have been gone for a day and when I did have time to peek in I didn't have time to post a reply. It takes a long time for a "hen pecker" to find the right keys to make a sentence so I have to allow myself some time to make a post.

First of all let me say it is a delight to hear from Mrs. MQ1 Shooter.! I can see why MQ1 is such a happy person having someone like you around.
You guys make a wonderful family! Any guy that will sacrifice a hunt during the rut for dinner and a movie is ten times the man I am or ever will be. Of course I'm sure there are advantages to such conduct that I will not speak of here.[&:]Obviously you guys strike a great balance in all your activities.

I had to laugh hearing you talk about little Matthew and the deer crossing signs, that is so cute. You two are going to have your hands full when he is old enough to hunt on his own but not old enough to drive.

Thank you for saying such nice things about my hunting story. It is so flattering to hear such generous words. It never grows old to hear someone say they enjoyed it.

Keep up the good work...

An old post, I know, but you will have a hard time finding a better one! On it's anniversary, take time to read this fine story again.
Good luck to all!

It was too long to read back then, and it still is. It's still a nice buck.
