First time posting after ive been lingering soaking up some info....great looking site!! So heres my question.....tomorrow morning Im planning on hunting but there is supposed to be overnight storms and the wind is supposed to be 20-25 mph overnight and through the day. Its also been really warm here in illinois the past few days and ive noticed the deer movement has been hindered. So, if you were me(18 years old and got up at 4:30 on saturday after going to bed at 2:00), would you get up and go at it in these nasty conditions or should i just sleep in tomorrow?????? Any help would be appreciated!!

alot of people say warm weather and high winds make deer lay down. but just think u'll probably be the only one hunting and deer tend to move when the storm passes over. could get lucky and be there at the right time to nail a big slob. i'd go out and sit. maybe use a call by a scrape. to windy for scent maybe. then again maybe not. anyway good luck bro

A changing barometer always signals game movement , and the rut has begun . If the wind doesn't get high enough to preclude shooting then I'd go out . The wind should be down enough by midday .

GO!!
The storm will be outta IL by 3am. The temps are going to fall from the current 73 (10:45 pm) to 57 by 6am at least in the southern part of the straight.
I like the falling temps after a strom no matter what the winds are!
