I'm in northern NJ and I think the pre-rut started last weekend. I got an 8 pointer earlier this week and saw a nice 10 pointer on my way home from work the other afternoon...at 2:30PM!!

I'm psyched to go out tomorrow morning to see what craziness exists in the woods. Good luck.

I hunt in Bucks County in Southeast PA and i've been seeing alot of activity. I've seen alot of younger bucks chasing does, but haven't seen the big boys starting yet. But there was a big 11 pointer taken from the farmi hunt and his neck was pretty swollen. IMO, you'll be hunting PA at just the right time.
