Default First Buck-9 Pt.

I have been a member on here for a couple years, basically just always browsing the forums. Thought I would share a pic of the 9 Pt. I shot last Thurs. I have shot deer in the past (does) always passed up smaller bucks waitng for the one I would be happy with as my first buck. This guy came in following a doe and I stopped him at 23 yds. before he hit some brush. Quartering away, got both lungs and the top of the heart. He went about 75 yds. and died in mid leap.5 yrs. of hard work and many missed oppurtunities and it all finally paid off.

Hey Congrats

It always pays off one way or another when you finally get that buck you been wishing for... I was a rifle hunter untill my uncle showed me the bowhunting world thats when i shot my first buck a 4x4 or a eight point. this year i have scouted a 5x6 with a couple of kickers. only 18 more days untill or late season starts back up, Congrats on a Nice Buck remeber necer quit before the "golden moment" (meaning the chance to take a nice deer" congrats again good luck next year.

Nice deer. You've got the right idea. It pays off to shoot some does and wait for a matured buck.

Congrats on your first buck with a bow. I think shooting the does helps you be able to make that shot when the right buck comes along.
