I didn't know the 'knee' was part of the vitals. How did the knee shot end up being fatal? Did you get a second chance to stick another arrow in him?

ya, there isnt very good genes in the area i shot him, It is a huge stretch of public land and everyone shoots ne buck that moves, my theory is that the tiny spiked get mistaken for does and those are the only ones that survive. Also there it is woodland and swampland no farms or nething so not too much nutrition

i had to finish him off with a knife, we tracked him for a long time and when we found him he was weak from blood loss.

nice huge buck, did you look at his teeth, he looks old, But anyway nice to see you continued on with the tracking and recovered him. Id give ol flash a piece of loin when its done.

He's a chunky looking buck for the size of his rack. I would have taken him too!
I can't believe you found him after hitting him in the knee. Glad you were persistent, but you might want to keep practicing.
