Illinois hunt, pictures
We had a great hunt in Barry Illinois, Pike County on Oct,22-28. I took this buck at 6 oclock onOct,25. He was running does and when he stoped I grunted at him and he came right at me and stop under a big tree 28 yards and made a paw mark then went back to does. I saw him a total of 5 times that night along with 5 other bucks and 20 other does. Deerareevery where, Ihad to watch every move I made, at around 6 oclock I saw two bucks in the lower cornerof the field and I made two grunts and hit the can call by primos and the big buck came right up the edge of the field under the big tree across a fence. (when he came under the tree I drew my Mathew Legacy) I my a grunt with my mouth and he stop in his tracks 18 yards quartering away.My Easton evolution tip with a 100 grain slick trickwas on its way.
