Default First deer with a bow

I got my first deer with a bow sunday evening. It was a 90 pound doe. It was the first time I have hunted in the afternoon in years. I work second shift 6 days a week I usauly hunt satarday and sunday mornings. I have had a bad season up till now the first weekend I missed a doe the next one I slipped and fell out of my stand. I thought I would see if anything would move up there in the evening. I got in my stand about 5 o'clock and about 6 here came 2 deer I watched them for a few a while the biggest one turned and gave me a good shot. she only ran 30 yards I have bow hunted for 8 years with out killing one. I will have some pics in a few days. Now I can hold out for a big Buck.

THUMB's UP on your first, it's a rush that's for sure, But make sure your saftey belt is on, want to hear from you again that you got another one and not some one else telling us you are no longer with us because of a fatal fall. CONGRAT's again and be SAFE

Congrats! 8 years is a long time to wait, I'm sure it was well worth it though when you tagged your first deer!
