I took a nice 10 point yesterday
 

Yesterday morning I was in my stand before daylight and was totally setup when light came. I had been watching squirrels all morning when I heard steps behind me and thought it was the squirrels again,boy was I suprised. I turned around and all I saw was rack and a big body. There was actually two big bucks right behind me. I could not get a shot at the first one because of the brush and he wouldn't stop. The second one stopped in my lane and I took the shot. The deer was only 15 yards and the arrow hit him in front of the last rib and went through to the opposite shoulder. The arrow stayed in the buck until about thirty yards before he fell. I went to the butcher this morning to pay my deposit on the mount and he gave me the broadhead. It was lodged in the shoulder bone. Gotta give a thumbs up for the 125 grain muzzys. I love them. The buck should score in the low to mid 120's but by far my best bow buck. I hunt in Indiana.

What County are you in, Patrick, I also hunt in Indiana, Vanderburgh County, I saw a nice ten-pointer and a busted up six-pointer this weekend, could have taken the smaller buck, but held out for the big boy, he passed by a couple rows in the corn and I didn't want to take a bad shot, so I let him walk. I also saw about 6 anterless deer (does, fawns and a button buck) Congrats on your deer, how close are you to Vanderburgh county, Evansville.

I am in Franklin county. I will try to get some pictures soon. It was so hot saturday that I didn't want to waste time getting him to the butcher. So I didn't get many pictures. I will try to go and get a picture of the rack from the taxidermist. I will try to get some soon.
