Got robbed by a button buck!!!!
OK so there I was up in my climber, I have my scent wick out with Golden Estrous on it. Here comes 4 deer down wind, 3 stop but one continues to come in. It is a button buck, he walks right up to my wick sniffs on it for a moment. Then he bites onto it and walks away! He looked like he was smoking a Camel straight! What in the world is a BB doing sniffing the smell of a woman. That would be like a 12 yr old going into a stip club wouldnt it? J/K

On the other hand that tells me the does are not even close to coming into heat. I assume the three deer he was with were does and they should be booting him out when they are getting close to coming into heat. If hes still with them, they arent even close yet.

Right, and adult does will kick their button bucks out during breeding season to help prevent inbreeding. Many times junior will rejoin ma after its over, but as a rule they do this. So if he is still with ma, then she's not close.
