N.Y. Buck's down
#1
My buddy and I arrowed three deer in three day's from the same stand, one doe and two buck's. Had to get the dog to find the buck's; one was hit quartering on and we had no exit hole{and no blood trail} and my buck moved @ the shot and I gut shot him low. My dog has been trained to follow blood trail's and I have my tracker's licence. If it wasnt for him they would have went unrecovered

nice buck i wish i could see one of those. I sat out for 8hrs last thursday and saw 13 does and fawns and on saturday I sat for 9 hrs and saw one doe and one button buck. Now Im not being asmart ass or a trouble maker this is a legitimate question. Isnt it illegal to have your dog trail the deer for you? I heard this from a few people and I didnt believe it because I have done the same thing.

Whtaillgnd1, Nope not illegel. I had to take a test givin by the DEC. check "deer search inc." for more info. The deer was @ 35yrds. "my max" and the deer took a step @ the shot. The bows an SQ32 shooting axis 31" @ 267 fps with vortex heads. They made a hell of a hole, 2.5 " cutting blades.
