I've never thought about it, but I must say, it is intruiging. It's so silly, it just might work. If you have apple trees in your hunting area anyway. Deer recognize "strange" odors, and while they may be curious about it, mature bucks will just stay away from it. I don't use anything apple im my area, becuase an apple tree is unheard of. It would be like using persimmon attractant in an area that has no persimmons.
Shed33 is right on. Deer relate better than anything else to predation. They will sit tight and not even eat if danger is near. They can hide for several days, and while they will be hungry, they won't get up. They can live without food a few days, but they aren't livin long if a cougar grabs 'em. My opinion: I would rather smell like absolutely nothing. Or, as close as I can get to it. Scent free everything, and yes, Scent Lok as well. |

i would think that leaving your hunting clothes outdoors for a couple of days should do the trick and maybe take a baking soda bath.
