Trail Cameras for scouting
How many of you use more than one trail cam for scouting during season.
Right now I have 3 up on trails around stands. I check them every 5 days or so and see what kind of activity I have missed.
Where are you placing your cameras?

I place them on field trails and on the edges of trails entering the corn fields. I may put them on some new scraps Ive been seeing just to see what dude is making them.

I don't use them. Too much chance they will be stolen from the places I hunt. I did get a cheap one as a gift and tried putting it up in the woods behind the house and the thing was a piece of junk. Put it over a scrape, made sure it flashed when I moved, but yet when I came back and saw the scrape visibly worked over, there were no pictures.

Have two, one a new digital, and the other an old 35 mm. Mainly use 35 mm. for backup now because I hate messing with film. Digital is much more versatile anyways. Move the digital around all year over trails, feeders, mineral licks, scrapes, field edges, whatever seems interesting at the time. Don't use it just for finding big bucks but to get info on population dynamics, etc. as well.
