She jetted off about 50 yrds and fell down and kicked a couple times and passed.
When we shoot deer they don't pass.... they just drop dead.[8D][8D]

I too took a trophy Whitetail Doe the third week of September. It was a heart shot that smashedthrough her Right Front leg bone, through her heart and out the other side. [8D]She too went about 50 yards but the amazing thing though was at 50 yards, there was a 5 foot high rail fence. []. . she cleared that fence and tumbled another 10 yards to the edge of the river.

How she cleared that fence is beyond me.

First, congrats on the doe kill ducsause!!!

Deer are amazingly strong animals for their size. Could you imagine even walking 10 feetafter an arrowjust went through your heart?

Thanks for all the replies guys! Im going in the morning and will shoot another doe if I get the chance. Then I will definetly wait on a buck. Buck or doe, its great hunting! I can't bowhunt in VA with a bow during rifle season so that sucks. I was thinking about doing that. Its only a couple weeks that I'll be bowless. Good luck to ya'll.
