Well i found this on another forum i dont know the story behind it though any one know anything about this buck. Suposidly it was shot in ILL but i dont know.

that buck is absolutely enormous. i can wait to hear some sort of story on it because i couldnt even begin to guess a score on that buck

Wow, what a monster. That buck is definately not the 197" buck. That buck will gross probably 240-250", by guessing. Wow, what a monster!!!!

Ok i have some more info. Deer was supposedly shot in Bloomington ILL. By a local police officer.

I had heard rumors of a nice buck with drop tines over by El Paso, which is only 20 miles to bloomington. So maybe you are on the right track.

He is a beauty.

More news,The deerwas a 28 pointer that field dressed at 225 lbs. They said they expect it to score in the 220's.. Could be Illinois new #1 (time will tell). This deer had it all, even had a nice back drop tine off of it's right side that swelled on the tip.

Here is so more news off of the mathews forum. It was shot in Kappa ILL.

LOl told you all a monster would be shot in Illinois this year.See that is what us Illinois boys are made of.We dont tremble at the knees we dont shake so bad we cant shoot we dont LIE either......... I woulda been *^$#%@!* myself right there on stand.I drive through Bloomington every month to go up north to see my lil girls.I have seen some great looking deer there but just dont have the time to stop and ask people about hunting up that way.I do believe I have a spot to hunt in Rock Island county though.Totally under rated County I have seen some beast's up there while I lived there.Just not too many hunters there.

when was that sucker shot....I am in bloomington right now....I wonder if it was shot at Dawson Lake.....or Moraine View or whatever it is called. I was thinking at the beginning of bow season I was gonna hunt that public land for the first time. Good thing I decided not too.[:@]

Well, Kappa is closer to El Paso than Bloomington is. So the rumors I have been hearing around town must be fairly true. This is only like 40 miles from my house. Maybe I will see one almost that size!!

LMFAO, I have been through Kappa, when going out to Evergreen Lake, it has about 250 ppl in it, and 2 strip clubs, runs right along the river, definentley has big buck potenial.
