IM almost 40 shot 12 deer w/ the bow recoverd 9 nothing to brag about amd i have been hunting for 6 years, but a good record,,,,,, what about you??

i'm 15 and when i was 12 i got a doe with my PSE and when i was 14, i got an eight point and a doe.

I'm almost 16. This is my second year of bowhunting and i'm 1 for 1 on deer. 1 for 1 on hogs. And 1 for 1 on exotics. And shot some rabbits and squirels;)

I'm 38 going on 39 this Nov 10th. I can't begin to count the number of whitetails I've taken with a bow in more than 20 years of seasons...also to my credit with bow and arrow include bull elk, black bear, coyotes and a variety of small game and upland game birds.....let's hope the next 20 years are just as rewarding.

Im 21 years old, been bowhunting since age twelve. Lost the very first two deer i shot arrows at both doe- one was a shoulder hit, the other i just grazed the top of her back. Fourtunately ever since then i have taken 10 shots and recovered all 10 deer. Im 10 for 12, with 5 buck and 5 doe to my credit.

I'm 29 years old, and I'm in my 17th year of hunting. I've been fortunate enough to take 27 deer with a bow, but WI has always been a powerhouse for deer numbers. I'm proud to say that I've never lost a deer I hit with an arrow, but the couple of misses I had I was thankful for versus a bad hit. Good luck to all this year.

27 years old, 11 years of bowhunting, 14 deer taken. I can remember and describe everyone of them like it was yesterday.

I'm 18 and i've been bowhunting for 4 yrs. I've shot 3 deer with a bow.

43 years bow hunting for 25+, i'm not sure how many deer, i useally try to kill 3-7 a year with my bow (most of those are does though), unless a shooter comes within range, i have only lost 3 (4) deer 2 bowhunting early on, one with buckshot on a dog drive[:@], one i shot and found 2 weeks later[&o]

Im 18, and this will be my 3rd year bowhunting. I took a shot on a Spike last year and never got a shot my first year, so i am 0-1 on my shot count...a few weeks later my buddy got the spike on opening day.


Im hoping to score this year......put as much as i could've into it...let's see how it works out!

Let's see...mine's easy to do.

I'm 21, have been bowhunting for about 7 years...and have killed 0 deer.

I shot at one last year and had it jump the string. Other than that...I have never actually shot at a deer with my bow.

I just suck pretty much.

Please take note that the number of deer a hunter is allowed to take annually can vary greatly from one location to another, thus some excellent hunters may face restrictionsaffecting how many they have taken .

39 bow huntin for 27 years (43) whitetails (14)mule deer (15) elk (2) caribou (1) moose (3) black bears (22) Coyote (2) Mountain lion (4) Blacktail Deer (6) Phesant (one flying) lucky (1)Goose (1) bobcat (lotsa) grouse Blue and ruff(4 )nutria, Ive hunted 18 states And Ive loved every min. of it. P.S. I shot and lost only one whitetail buck, hit a twig and it hit him square in the nose bleed like a stuck pig for about 100 yards and then nothing I looked for him for three days.[&o]On the up side I found all the rest within 150yards ALso, I am not a great hunter!!! In fact, Its amasing I have taken any game at all, I don't belive in the scent control crap, or lures I just hunt the wind, I don't have privet property and I have never paid a guide to hunt (except caribou, Ya kinda have to ) I am self taught as my dad couldn't kill anything. so Im sure I could learn form all the experts, I just put a lot of time in and hunt anywhere I can. Fortunatly I have a job that lets me hunt a lot. Its not about the number but I do keep a log book. that talks about the hunt and kill along with a photo. Its kind of cool to look back after 20 plus years and look and read. All you young guy should put one together.

I'm 31, been bowhunting since 18. 13 seasons and I believe I have 20 with a bow, 34 total. I've gotten two this season in the opening week.

well lets see im 28 yrsold...been bow hunting for 15 years, and ive taken right around 9 bucks with my bow, and 5 does, so that makes 14 all thogether.

I am 33 and have been bowhunting for 13 years now. I usually shoot 5-10 a year (almost all does) because we eat alot of venison. So, I have taken around 50-60 with my bow, and I don't know how many with a shotgun. I have also shot coyotes and turkeys with my bow.

I am 19 years old and have been bow hunting for 4 years. I have shot 4 bucks, 7 does. I have not lost a deer yet, and i hope i never do. But it happens.

im 32, been hunting since I was 15, and I have 8 bow kills including my first buck with the bow.

I am 38 years old. Only been bowhunting for around4 years, My second night in a stand I shot a fair six pointer. Kinda wish I woulda let him pass but I had the new guys jitters. Next I shot a nice doe the next year. Then my 3rd year I shot a 152 gross 143 net whitetail that had 11 points. That is a story in itself. I also got a huge Iowa fed doe that year. Then last year I got another six pointer that I thought had a deformed rack and just wanted to cull him from the herd, I was wrong he had 1 side busted off. OOPS. So I guess Ihave 5 deer in 4 years not bad I guess. But I do live in Iowaand you can't spit here in western Iowa without hitting a deer.:)

31 years old, 18th year with a bow. I just killed my 30th bow deer last night. 12 bucks.

if 16 this will be second bowseason and i am 1fer1 on deer taken/found but i am 1-4 for shots taken,,,2 misses then i had my string loop pull though will drawin on a doe and the 4th shot i succefully harvest my first deer with a bow(2nd overall) both of the deer i have taken (1gun 1bow) were both button bucks but i was very happy with them both

I'm 39. Been hunting since I was about 7. I've been bow hunting for 7 years. I've killed 1 P&Y muliebuck, 1 P&Y whitetail buck, and9 whitetail doe, and one buck antelope. Several coyotes, several prairie dogs, a bunch of rabbits and grous, with my bow!
Also shot 5 dove at a water hole one year while waiting on antelope!

I'm 53 andcrotchety, but not as old a fart as davidmil.[8D]

Got my first bow when I was 3 and started 'hunting' with it when I was 6. And yes, I considerstalking cottontails in the half acre veggie garden behind the farm house 'hunting.' Big time safari for me when I was 6.;)

Over the years I'vebow shota few deer, more hogs andlikely severaltruckloads of cottontails, jackrabbits, squirrels, prairie dogs, raccoons, possums, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, dove, quail, duck, rattlesnakes, copperheads, water moccasins, carp, gar, even a couple of snapping turtles... Practically all with a recurve or longbow. Never really fell in lovewith a compound for hunting. It never occurred to me to keep a running tally. Even if I had, I would've run out of fingers and toes years ago.:D

I'm 25, this is 4th year bow hunting. I've only ever shot one deer and it wondered onto an anti's property[:@]

Been hunting for 22 years and have shot somewhere between 25-30 whitetails...3/4 of which with a bow. 4 bucks to date with two of those being in rifle.

I am 31 and have taken 5 bucks with the bow and numerous does. Been at it since I was 14 and have taken some with the rifle too, just doesn't do it for me anymore, I like my stick and string!!!! I will still hunt with the rifle but not with the enthusiasm I have with the bow.

21 years old, been bowhunting since age 12. I've taken around 30 deer with a bow, but I have been exclusively hunting with a bow for the past three years. I have yet to not find a deer I've shot at. Not bragging, but I'm anal about my shot selection.

I'm 25 and I have taken a total of 13 big game animals with a bow.
It is a mixture of hogs and deer. I took lucky thirteen last tuesday,
a nice doe. I have also taken several squirrels and rabbits when I was
younger as well as a coyote. I hope to add to this total soon. :D

Im almost 21 now and this is my 3rd year bowhunting, serious for 2 years. My first year I shoulder shot a doe and never recovered. Same year I shot another doe and recovered. Last year, no deer but killed a fox squirrel. Waiting on this years results. So my record is 1 for 2.

very true this is one reason i useally avoid "how many threads" they don't really mean anything, for someone in a state that can only kill 1-2 deer to look at this state would be unreal, also quality/size varies greatly

Well Started Bowhunting when I was 12, now at 33 I have taken at least 2 deer per year on average. Sone years 1 sone three or four, so I am up over 40. I hunt really good land. I hunt 285 acres farm were I was the first person to bowhunt the land. It has been in my family since 1860's. My succes is the product of the land I hunt.

48 years old, first year bow hunting. Score ME: 0 DEER: 10 I've seen 10 deer this year, but haven't had a shot yet.

25 years old, been hunting for 3 years now, bow hunting for two. First day out, first time ever bow hunting shot a doe in the shoulder area, never recovered, this year, one button buck so far, first deer of the year, first bow kill of my life.

Im 24 and have been bowhunting now for 2.5 yrs. Last year I took two 8's a 7 and a doe. I killed a doe this past Sat so that makes 5.
