Default Thanks for all the help!!

One of the best moves I made when I got involved in bowhunting last December was to seek the advice of members of this forum. It made the difference (along with quality help from the staff at the archery store). I had a successful hunt in New Mexico in early September and bagged this eight point mule deer...one shot, one deer. It was a huge thrill and I'm as proud of this buck as I have been of any I ever shot with a gun.
This is not a "trophy" buck....but it is to me. Thanks again and good luck to all!!
(This buck was shot Sept. 3 and was still in velvet....I just now found out how to reduce the size of the pic to get it uploaded here)

any deer taken with a bow is a trophy in in my opinion! It's all about the hunt, not what you take after.

Congratulations. That is a beautiful buck. I have to agree that this forum is one excellent place to learn about bowhunting. So many folks willing to help each other out is great.
