well, went out after the remenants of tropical storm tammy had passed and sat in the same woodlot I killed a doe out of on monday. no action until just after six when a group of six does came in with their back to the wind. they were just off of being down wind of me chowing down on acorns right off the property owner's driveway (40yds away) when one snorts. I can see through my binos that they are coming right at me. I dropped the binos, grabbed the bow and came to full draw. they all stop about 23 yds out right before a field and the biggest doe gives me a shot. I made the exact same shot on her as I did the one on monday. she dropped in her tracks. hit her right above her left shoulder (don't worry, I am going to recheck my sights tomorrow). she was a big doe, right about 110-115 dressed. enjoy, pic of the little one again...
