Default Got Trespasser Problems? Try This....

Five years ago, I got exclusive rights to 300 acres of crop/timberland.With the landowners permission, I posted"No Trespassing" signs around the perimeter every 50 feet. The first three years, I had people coming onto the property during shotgun season without permission. Each time they claimed they had the farmers permission. I politely told them to leave each time and they did, but had already driven the deer population into a frenzy. Also, each time it was a different group. So last year I changed the signs to read "No Trespassing! Colorblind Hunter! Not liable for injury or death!" Last year, not a single trespasser. I watched hunters get up to the fence line, look at the sign and then turn around. So far, it's worked for me. If you all have the same problem, it might work for you too. The picture attached (if this works) was taken 3 weeks ago along the creek feeding into the river on the property.

I know a guy that will make a scarecrow and put an orange vest and hat on him. put it in an area that is a likely spot for someone to cross the fence. tresspassers will see it from a couple hundred yards and turn away. only during gun season though.
